Hellenic Cables, the cables segment of Cenergy Holdings, has been recognized for the second consecutive year in “Europe’s Climate Leaders 2026” list by the Financial Times and Statista.
The annual list recognizes European companies that have achieved significant reductions in greenhouse gas emissions intensity, while also considering additional criteria such as science-based targets ambition.

This distinction reflects Hellenic Cables’ ongoing commitment to responsible growth, operational excellence, and the development of sustainable cable solutions supporting the evolving energy infrastructure landscape. Through continuous investments in technology, energy efficiency, and resilient industrial operations, the company is strongly committed to reducing the environmental footprint of its activities and supporting the decarbonization of its value chain.

Hellenic Cables’ 2025 climate-related performance highlights include:

  • 50.3% reduction in Scope 1 & 2 emissions compared to the 2020 baseline
  • 10.0% reduction in Scope 3 emissions compared to the 2020 baseline
  • 82% of total electricity consumption covered by renewable energy sources
